Well, I’ve been 28 for five days now, and I’m not really sure that anything has changed. But I am sure that this is how people wind up saying “where has the time gone” when they hit fifty. Some days I feel I was just in high school, and other days I feel like I’ve lived a…Read More
You guys this week has seriously been so crazy. Crazy and lazy. I got sick last week and Brandon has just been the biggest champ for putting up with me wanting to do nothing. I finally have energy to do things, but this cough I have keeps me from being able to breathe! Luckily, I can feel that it's on its way out, which is good since we are leaving for Arizona tomorrow!
But today is Brandon's birthday!!!! He is 30 today, which means that I have known him for EIGHT years!
He is the coolest 30 year old that I know.
People in their twenties go through a lot. You graduate college, get jobs, change jobs, buy a house, maybe buy another house, and occasionally move states. Get married, have babies. The usual things. Brandon has gone through so much in the last two years, having to be a dad to heavenly babies. It hasn't been easy for me, so I can only assume it has been hard for him. But you guys, he is the best dad. The best husband. I am so grateful for him. He is the kindest, most loving guy I could ever ask to share this crazy life with.
I've heard from a lot of people that being in your thirties is even better than your twenties, and I can see that for Brandon. He's going to be a dad to an earthly little boy, he's crushing it at work, and he's pushing his own boundaries and becoming the wonderful man he is destined to be.
B rand, I am so grateful for you, you have no idea. I love you so very much, and I am so excited to see where your thirties take you.
